Entry #1 Blogs

When I initially heard about blogs in class for the first time, I was not too intrigued. I just thought of it as a place for adults who have their whole life figured out, to talk about their experiences. But I was proved wrong. There's so much to a blog. People can talk about literally anything, at anytime.

If you're into movies and shows like most people. Tv Fanatic Girl aka Amy's blog has many great reviews. She talks about so many shows available on Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max etc. She provides trailers and a lot of background information about the shows for her viewers. Not only that but something that caught my attention and probably of many others, is that she includes a pros and cons section about the shows. The layout of her blog is interesting because she includes lots of pictures and statics. The purpose of Amy's blog is to inform readers about so many shows available. With Covid-19 going around, and lots of people having to quarantine her blog is a great way of informing yourself about all the good show options.

The Guardian is a blog for any sports fans out there. They have a variety of sports they talk about. What's cool about their blog is that they talk about teams that aren't super well known yet or hardly talked about. The only problem with this website would be that it can be a little difficult to reach a certain article about a certain sport. https://www.theguardian.com/ Overall their purpose would be to inform their viewers about a sport they might really enjoy.

With celebrity scandals happening almost everyday Mto's news blog is a good spot for all types of celebrity drama. Their purpose is to inform people on the latest news on their favorite celebrities. An issue I noticed was that they really don't include a lot of context. They are really brief, but they do include videos and pictures which is really nice visually. On a positive note, it seems like they really like to talk to their views and chat with them. https://mtonews.com/
